Marta Tucci is a photographer and writer. Her work has been published in Condé Nast Traveler, Vogue, Departures, Travel + Leisure, Elle Magazine, House & Garden, and AFAR amongst others.

Born in Barcelona to a pilot and filmmaker, her parents fed her curiosity for different mediums of visual expression from a young age. After receiving her degree in War Studies from King’s College London, she worked as a photographic assistant for the likes of Heather Favell and Terry O’Neill before moving to Paris to study History of Art at L’École du Louvre.

Pairing her dedication to human rights and photography, she began working with international NGOs in the fields of migration, displacement, and human trafficking. Her early work with the displaced Rohingya was published internationally and received honorable mentions from Magnum Photos and Oxfam, as well as the UNICEF Picture of the Year Awards. In 2015, Marta was invited to lecture and exhibit her work at the University of Chicago.

Her long-term project ‘Weavers of the Sky’ was recently exhibited at the Fashion & Textile Museum in London.
